2022 marks a decade since Australian football lost one of its greatest ever players, administrators and legends of the game: Jim Stynes.

On the 10th anniversary of his passing, we invite you to join us at a commemorative fundraising lunch to honour Jim’s three great loves – family, football and Reach.

Your attendance and generous donation in memory of Jim officially inducts you into Jim’s Legacy – a special group of supporters committed to ensuring his legacy and vision lives on through the vital work of The Reach Foundation.

In the words of Jim in the video above – this is what Reach is all about. A melting pot of different people, coming together with courage, calling upon each other to grow.

As custodians of Jim’s ongoing legacy, your attendance at this special event is supporting The Reach Foundation to do just that – to grow and develop into the next 30 years of our journey.

This event is taking place with complete support and input from the Stynes family. 

HOW YOUR SUPPORT WILL HELP US GROW

If there is anything the past two years have taught us, it’s that young people need us now more than ever.

We have a once in a generation opportunity to invest in our growth and position Reach as the most relevant voice for young people in Australia. Our Crew are hungry to be that voice – and we’re excited to give them that opportunity. With a significant investment of $1M, we will be able to stabilise and boost our Crew cohort.

Fundraising from this event will allow Reach to invest in four key areas:

• Recruiting and training 200 new Crew members
• Developing and delivering more programs to more communities
• Digital delivery of our programs, bringing Reach to a wider and remote range of young people
• Further resourcing in wellbeing to ensure our young people have appropriate care
