Overview

Our school workshops are the backbone of Reach. Our crew of facilitators are out in primary and secondary schools every week during school terms delivering workshops that are 100% led by young people.

Professional and highly trained wellbeing support all Reach programs ensuring emotional safety and positive youth connections.

They provide safe and supportive spaces where the Reach crew role-model empathy, authenticity, resilience and connection. The group work allows participants to understand themselves better and connect with others.

Primary workshops

Students in primary school are experiencing serious and difficult emotional issues. We offer programs long before teen years to help develop young minds and hearts to support and nuture positive emotional development.

We recommend our themed workshops of Peer Connection, Teamwork, Empathy and Change and Transition.  We can work with classes that are composite or single grades. If you would like to understand what is best for your students, please reach out to us!

Testimonials

Don't just take our word for it. We let our work — and our people — speak for themselves. Here's what some of the students we've delivered workshops to have to say

"it helped create a stronger sense of connection within the group, as well as more empathy and understanding for one another. Overall, it was an engaging and thoughtful session that left a strong impact on the group"

Student at Upwey High School

"I loved when the hosts talked about themselves from the start of the day because it made us feel connected in a way and helped us realise there's other people out there going through similar situations."

Student at South Oakleigh College

"people actually cared and the facilitators were youngish so they could actually relate and engAGE"

Student at South Oakleigh College

"the locker room workshop ran for an entire day, which gave us enough time to dive deeper into meaningful conversations rather than just skimming the surface. it was the best incursion we have had, especially because a wide range of people shared their thoughts and experiences"

Student at Upwey High School

"I loved how connected our whole year level got after just one day I’m not just saying that, I talked to people I never talked to before and somehow it made me fix friendships I had lost I loved that day so so much"

Student at South Oakleigh College

"the program encouraged students to open up, communicate honestly, and support one another, creating a more inclusive and positive school environment. many students developed greater self-awareness, resillience, and a stronger sense of belonging.
