ROOKYS DAYS

Year 6 students only

Rookys Day aims to build resilience, self-esteem and leadership skills in year 6 students to assist them in the transition to high school.

The workshop encourages participants to express and overcome fears, build self confidence and develop personal leadership skills.  Incorporating themes from popular children’s media and elements of the ‘Heroes Journey’, students will be engaged in high energy, interactive activities and group discussion.

Rookys Day is ideal for students who need a little motivation, guidance or positive direction or who deserve a reward.  Facilitated by our inspirational young Crew, the day aims to have a positive impact on year 6 students embarking on a new (and at times daunting) phase of their lives.
