BECOME CREW
How do I become Crew?
The best way to become involved as Crew at Reach is to get along to our programs. Reach run programs for teenagers ranging from School Workshops to fun filled Weekends Away. Check out the website or call the Reach Dream Factory on (03) 9412 0900 to find out what’s on. You could word up your teachers and get them to book in a workshop at your school or book yourself into one of our Fused Workshops which we run in 5 different locations across Melbourne and now in Sydney (Alexandria, NSW).
Each year we invite a selected group of young people who have been part of our programs throughout the year to a special Leadership Day. This workshop is an opportunity to connect with our Reach Crew, be a leader and share a bit about who you are. Out of this group we offer 50 scholarships to people that show us they have what it takes to join us on the journey to become a Reach Crew Member.
Whatever the outcome of this day – we want you to continue attending our programs and being part of Reach; our programs are where the work really happens and there will always be another opportunity to be part of our Crew scholarship program.

What does being ‘Reach Crew’ REALLY mean?
You have probably seen our programs where some really cool young people get up in front of a group of teenagers and run some awesome activities? These guys are our Crew; they are brilliant at connecting a group of people and inspiring them to be all they can be. They have dedicated time, energy and passion to learning, growing and actively training to become Reach Crew and Facilitators.
Reach Crew work closely with the participants in our programs, guiding, supporting, experiencing the work and being a part of what is created when a group come together. The commitment means attending our programs and training sessions regularly. There are opportunities to participate in weekends away, social activities, events and workshops to get to know the people that are the heart of Reach.
Our team of Crew are a mixed bunch; they come from all over Melbourne and from all walks of life. Accepting a scholarship and becoming a Reach Crew member can be a big commitment, but we like to think it’s definitely worthwhile!
